I know, especially when I would be getting logged out on every phpBB board I use, and that's certainly not what's happening.Mick wrote: ↑Sat Sep 10, 2022 4:10 pmIt’s not the phpBB software otherwise there’d be hundreds of complaints.[Dimetrodon] wrote: ↑Sat Sep 10, 2022 2:46 pmThis strikes me as a problem with the server itself as opposed to bugs due to phpBB
No - but it is the phpBB server configuration.
No, but it is a problem on this site and not on my end. And this problem sometimes makes the site practically unusable.Mick wrote: ↑Sat Sep 10, 2022 4:10 pmIt’s not the phpBB software otherwise there’d be hundreds of complaints.[Dimetrodon] wrote: ↑Sat Sep 10, 2022 2:46 pmThis strikes me as a problem with the server itself as opposed to bugs due to phpBB

Hello.
Thanks, but I'm pretty sure I know why. I moved to a place without good infrastructure, so I now rely on what is a mobile provider for my home internet. A sim card in a Wi-Fi hot-spot that shares IPs with other users and cycles through them, often quite rapidly.
I've experienced this as administrator on a few users already and technically it's a rather horrible scenario - the board cannot lower session checks per account because the whole point is to tell accounts apart: nobody can forecast which address spaces should be treated with lower restriction and which with higher restriction.[Dimetrodon] wrote: ↑Tue Oct 11, 2022 8:56 pmA sim card in a Wi-Fi hot-spot that shares IPs with other users and cycles through them, often quite rapidly.
