Custom User Title

Hi

In times of old, there was this MOD: viewtopic.php?f=70&t=2196169

Now, I would like a similar (identical) function. I would like to give my users with more than 500 posts the opportunity to write for themselves their own custom title, without changing the associated rank image. Not a NEW profile field: the rank field.

Would it be possible?

I just downloaded, installed and tested it and it works just fine.
'there is a 30 second delay before it shows up next to your username.

However, just not what I seek: custom user title to be set after a fixed amount of posts or a fixed amount of membership time.

the 30 second delay is how the author created it. I have no idea why he designed it that way, but it is working as designed.

since it does not do what you wish then hopefully someone will take up the task of creating an extension that will do what you want.

Use the Auto Groups extension to automate joining the special groups after a certain nr of posts and/or membership time.

Set a post or time minimum, and then automatically enable users to set their custom user level. You can specify in ACP to whether replace level, rank image, or both.

No one can do this?

It's hard getting people to port extensions to phpBB 3.3 with phpBB 4.0 coming soon as a lot of 3.3 extensions are not going to work on it.

How many characters do you want them to be able to add?

Exactly as long as a standard rank.
