Hello.
It's not blocked, rather, the server has too many people connecting to it. How long has it been like that? It may be getting scraped by bad bots or DDOSed.

before you do that, contact your host. they are the ones that can tell you exactly what is going on and what is causing it.

But it will come back, as the bots and scrapers visit your website, so block them now!

Your board is (likely) on a shared server with dozens or even hundreds of other websites.

That server has a limit for the number of connections it can deal with in total. It is going over that limit. After an hour or so the host probably kicks off all of the connections which resets the limit and your site comes back on again automatically, as does every other site on that server.

The only people who can do something about this is your host. They either move your board to a quieter server or they do that with the one or more which are pushing it over the limit.

First try to block the bots and scrapers on your site, most of the time this helps.

From another topic,
P_I wrote: Thu Jul 28, 2022 4:32 pm The large number of guests issue has come up here numerous times.

For my boards I found the blog post Blocking aggressive Chinese crawlers/scrapers/bots - John Large .co.uk very useful to understand whether or not the guests are legitimate or not. I'm using the solution mentioned in this comment to deal with the automated crawlers/scrapers/bots.

Code: Select all
