Allow users to search for other users by name and custom fields?

Hello

Every user can make a search in forum, on but only on written post text (if I am right...).

Is it possible to search for users by typing their name, even if they have made no posts yet?

I also defined some costum fields for user profiles.
Is it possible search on these fields? Would be great

You can already search for authors.

You can search for users by name from the memberlist. I don't think there is a way to search by profile fields.

Yes, I found the option here (did not know that before).

Having access to profile fields, would be great
