Detailed description of the tasks: When I had the technical ability I upgraded our board regularly and it was easy to do in small chunks, however after one bad upgrade i am a bit scared to do it so have left it. The forum is 17 years old! and hence has a lot of memories , in fact it has outlived a few members
, recently i hosted our cricket clubs sponsor page and needed wordpress, for this i had to do php 8 on the hosting and then realised the forum wasnt working (just a blank screen) , on 7.3 it is fine, later it is broken. Hence I need to get to php8 and have a working forum, and i really dont want to break it. It is a simple forum, 2 extensions of which we only really need 1 (external pop ups) , our site is a free to use and makes no profit other than about a fiver a month from ebay clicks but happy to fund for peace of mind if required. Looking forward to any help
