Updated 2 boards on personal webserver on USB stick from 3.3.10 to 3.3.11 ... as smoothly as previous updates.
Spelling is freeware, which means you can use it for free.
On the other hand, it is not open source, which means you cannot change it or publish it in a modified form.

Hello French, for me it is impossible to install the update, it returns the error:

HTTP ERROR 500 when trying to go through my PCA when I click here "Now start the update process by directing your browser to the "install/" directory.
public_html
However, install and seller are placed in the correct directory: public_html

Thanks for your help.

Thanks to all involved. I have successfully update a number of my boards.

As reported elsewhere, I did however note one issue, viewtopic.php?t=2647054, that "negates" one of the notable improvements unless an one-time manual workaround is applied.

Updated 2 Testboards (PHP 7.3, 3.3.10 to 3.3.11 and PHP 8.1, 3.3.10 to 3.3.11) - found an error.

After update - ACP - send statistics, gives Ajax error on both boards. Crizzo confirmed it.
My 2 cents: Whether an extension is in the CDB says nothing about its quality. It is more important to read the support topics for it. Better to avoid authors who do not answer support questions themselves, who do not update their stuff, and who do not fix bugs for years.

I got the same error message, which is:

Code: Select all

PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: mysqli_result object is already closed in /phpbb/db/driver/mysqli.php:265
Stack trace:
#0 /phpbb/db/driver/mysqli.php(265): mysqli_fetch_assoc(Object(mysqli_result))

#3 /index.php(29): phpbb\\user-]setup(NULL)
#4 {main}\n thrown in /phpbb/db/driver/mysqli.php on line 265
With PHP 8.1 and MySQL 8.0. Did not check yet, what could cause it.
