Not remember, but have access to -- in a user ID number list, with the username history of each number.
and an alphabetical member username list with the ID number connected.

It would be great if these could be correlated in an ACP extension.

That's a bigger task.
You just need to request exactly what you want with as much detail as possible and see if someone will make it.

True

It may be enough just to display the user ID number and username together, in user management in the ACP.

Even though what you want is simple to achieve with extension (if needed events are available), but it may take some time for someone to take up such task.
You need to request an extension for that.

Why not use a custom profile field like so
custom_profile_field.PNG
You can 'Hide the profile field from all users except administrators and moderators' too.
ACP - Users and Groups - Custom Profile Fields

Nope. Probably because the number itself is largely irrelevant.
On boards where username changes are disallowed (this phpBB.com board for example) user ID numbers are not needed.

However, on boards where usernames can be changed on a daily (or hourly) basis, then user ID numbers become a real necessity.
Hover over a username and you see the user_id in the link (just about everywhere on the board.
Spelling is freeware, which means you can use it for free.
On the other hand, it is not open source, which means you cannot change it or publish it in a modified form.

Yea, that could actually work.

I had this sort of ACP extension in mind >

Bear in mind not all members (actually far from most) understand German.

Also I can't see anything unexpected in the printscreen.
If there is something specific you would like to point out/emphasize ... you should make it stand out (e.g. an arrow pointing to it)

I presume you were referring to members of this board, most of which (but not all) have English as a mother-language.

Our marketplace and community is based in Germany, where most persons do actually understand German.
Typically I have taken screenshots of browser translated pages (translated into English), but the translations are not always correct.

The normal user management page does not include 'Benutzernummer' (user number)
it is displayed here directly below 'Benutzername' (user name).

Another option: Dmzx has a extension Special Title which I used to enter my user id number instead of a title.

The user id shows with the username like so...
special_user_id.gif
In mChat and a lot of other places.
special_mchat.gif
But instead of a user having to enter their user_id it would be better for an extension to grab the user_id and place it next to each user's name like that.

Not all extensions have been submitted for validation, nor have they all passed validation.
My guess (probably right) is that there are more extensions available than there are in the extension database.
