My printscreen is from a testboard on which Founder is the name of the founder.

So just use the username of your founder (And my red arrow is incorrectly pointing to can manage styles instead of to can manage extensions
Spelling is freeware, which means you can use it for free.
On the other hand, it is not open source, which means you cannot change it or publish it in a modified form.

Ah, yeah. I thought maybe that was a group name or something.
So this is my account, am the founder, and am marked as founder in user settings.
Just flat out not seeing those permission settings. Weird...

If that permission is missing may be why you cannot see it.

To the OP, did we ever reach a solution the previous time this came up, i.e. viewtopic.php?t=2403996?
Normal people… believe that if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Engineers believe that if it ain’t broke, it doesn’t have enough features yet. – Scott Adams

Could be. But how do I set the permission if I cannot see the permission?

No, never had any resolution. After much wrangling I finally abandoned the cause. At the time there was not a compelling reason to continue the effort. I didn't really need the ability to manage extensions, so I just let it go and moved on. Probably a mistake on my part. So I want to see it through this time.

It would be an a_extensions value in your acl_options table.

From what I read, this board had issues long ago, issues which weren't solved it seems.

I think the time has come to use the STK (the most recent version available (by Alex Sheer), not the phpBB STK for 3.0) and do all the checks it has. It can fix quite a number of issues related to modules and permissions.

Is this what you are referring to? Do I need to change the value here or something?

Is this the tool of which you speak?

And you are saying NOT to use this one?

Correct: that one is for phpBB 3.0

Cool, OK I'll give the STK a shot and see what we get. Will update the thread once that's done.
I really appreciate all of suggestions and ideas, thanks!
