Question and Answer System in Some Forums

Post by 53R »

Hello
Question and Answer sections can be created in some forum systems. Is it possible to create a system like this in phpBB?

Might not be exactly what you want but there is this extension
https://www.phpbb.com/customise/db/exte ... est_answer

Note it's for 3.2.x so you would need a test installation to try it out on 3.3.x

Technically there is not much difference between that and normal topics. e.g. "New topic" is New question and "Post Reply" is answer question.

Text like "New topic" is found in the language files and you can change it to whatever you want.

If you wanted to take it step further you could create a custom style to make it more Q&A like. Quick tip, if you wanted normal forum pages and separate Q&A section you can apply different styles to different sections of your forum.
