Mail Volume and reputation

Post by skybound »

Our mail volumes are up. Looks like going to have to pay some attention to our mail management. Mail sent to gmail, hotmail, live, and a few others now being returned as spam.

We use our dedicated server, SMTP, where the board runs on and is at a decent hosting co. Have done most actions such as adding the recommended TXT records into DNS such as DMARC and SPF records, but still delivery failures persist and are on the increase.

If you have a fair sized board, how are you managing your mail and specifically it's reputation.

(This is not the discussion about mail limits imposed by a hosting co. We are within those limits)

Great resource that. Used it a few weeks ago and it did help me identify an issue with the DMARC TXT entry. Have corrected it since and the test a few days later showed that all looking good.

Was hoping would show a drop in the bounced mails after correction, but alas not.
