What actions did you take (updating your board; installing a MOD, style or extension; etc.) prior to this problem becoming noticeable?
Tried to install phpBB3 with the installation guide. The error im getting is "Not Found

Please do advise how i should continue.

Hi Exemplary.

From what i've seen in my research, there have been 2 posts about one.com where people were setting up phpbb on the host, and it has worked for them so sadly i can only say, i can only hope so.

But it does have php and database support so it should be able to?

Yes I’ve had a test board with them for years.

@MikoWolf: Welcome to phpBB

I’ve just gone to https://rltw.eu/phpBB3/install/app.php/install and the install page comes up as expected so the files aren’t where you think they are. Please post a screenshot of your FTP window showing where the files are, they should be in https://rltw.eu/phpBB3/ not https://rltw.eu/phpBB3/install/app.php/install

Hi Mick and Exemplary.

I just got off with their support and they've stated that it should work like Mick mentioned.

I am also attaching a screenshot as requested.
I did notice that the phpBB should be in the root, but whenever i try to go fully back (all the way up up) it says that i dont have the rights to change or upload anything.

Hi Again,

Shouldnt the install have worked already by just typing rltw.eu/phpBB3 instead of going that deep into the folders?

They should be in https://rltw.eu/phpBB3/ not https://rltw.eu/phpBB3/install/app.php/install

Funny, I first tried this url and it didnt work from my side. Now it works.
https://rltw.eu/phpBB3/install/ is still there.
Either install immediately or rename the install (so that only you know where it is and can use it).
Spelling is freeware, which means you can use it for free.
On the other hand, it is not open source, which means you cannot change it or publish it in a modified form.

Are they not the same as shown in the screenshots from the FTP program?

The file structure has remained unchanged since I extracted the zip file, and I haven't made any modifications to it since then. I simply transferred the entire structure in one go to the FTP.

Even with the extended link that Mick found, I can indeed start the installation process. However, the correct link doesn't seem to be working. According to the screenshots, it should have worked without the extension.

Additionally, I've replicated the same file structure twice, and both times it indicates that it couldn't locate the phpBB3/install/app.php section.

Sorry if i sound like a broken record :(

From what I can see looking at my one.com account yours should look like:

/customers/a/7/a/rtiw.eu/httpd.www/phpBB/ <files here>

Note: It seems the host is displaying the hierarchies differently from what I remember. They used to use public_html as the root.

thats how it show up on the program WinSCP.
If i try to back up the root, then I dont have any more administrator rights.

I can try and use another program to try it out again.

It’s not recommended to unzip on the server, in many cases it can mess with the file and folder hierarchy. It’s always better to use a proper FTP client as well.
