Upgrading Font Awesome

What should I do if I want to upgrade the Font Awesome version builted in phpBB?

I have downloaded from here the latest free version of font awesome: https://fontawesome.com/download

Now, I think I should upload into the /assets/fonts folder, but I really don't know which files to upload and if I should edit some lines of code somewhere to have the icons available for my board and extensions like https://www.phpbb.com/customise/db/exte ... ile_flair/

Can someone help?
