Thank you. My first tests were good. But there is still no alert if the push cannot be opened. I still think all web push select should be active by default, just like notifications.

Why?
This must remain at the discretion of the user, for example this kind of notification annoys me so that they are not activated by default is very good!

I don't think people will bother to check the options one by one because it's not like that in other apps where they get push notifications. They usually go to settings to turn it off. But I accept your logic.

Yes. I normally disable notifications in Chrome settings. On sites where I want to receive notifications, I allow notifications for that site

The expected behavior is usually this: If notifications are disabled, tell the user to allow notifications and try again. OneSignal does this:

phpBB may give a similar popup warning. One signal's picture is a bit old. But even simple instructions can be written in text only. Because this is what it looks like now: Clicking the button does nothing.

Does this require the php gmp extension to work?

No. But according to rxu, gmp provides stability.

Thanks!

Not sure how it provides stability if it doesn’t use it but i’m not a dev, so…. 😅

Not stability actually but rather improving performance to avoid server timeouts.
