A simple Portal page with acp control to disable/enable and portal text, viewonline status.
You can use bbcodes and smilies in the text area.
There is a welcome message which changes during the day. Code originally by RmcGirr83

What does it do? Is it just a splash page? Or is it a basic CMS?

Yup, I went and looked at the demo before asking. Just wasn't sure of the range of functionality. :)

Basicly none :D
All you can do is configure some kind of welcome to the site message.
Did +10 years ago because I wanted something light instead of the more heavy portals with much more functions ;)

I would be nice to see some extra bits on the portal page like the forum stats, perhaps a quick log in box as well maybe? I only say that because whilst it is suppose to be a simple portal, the Pages extension does the exact same thing so it would add some USPs to it. Good work 👍

Same thought about adding forum goal to portal :)
But even though I have forum goal running fine on my board, I think the code is outdated. Not sure I can figure that one out atm.

any thought on remaking a heavy portal with blocks and all that like it used to be and that will work for 3.3.12 ????
