Unable massive attachements destruction

Post by LedZep64 »

Hello,

I run an old french postcards forum.
Members display the card by attaching images in the post.
To prevent members to delete posts i unabled post editing after 48 hours. This works fine.

But some members made me realise that anyone can delete all his attachments in its control panel.

Is there a way to unable attachments deletion after 48 hours ?

Thanks for any help.

If you talk about this:

There's no functionality that "removes" the ability of an user to delete their attachment directly from ucp as far as I'm aware. But instead you may solve this "problem" by just removing the checkbox and the button together if you don't want your users to delete their attachments from there.

Or go into ACP / System / Module Management / User Control Panel
Click "Overview" and disable "Manage Attachments
