"One click ban" or "Ban Hummer" for 3.3.x

Post by Vaga »

Hello everyone!

Is there anything similar to these very useful extensions for the 3.3.x version?

I mean, something allowing admin to ban offender immediately from the forum or user profile.

Thank you!
I have just installed it on my phpBB 3.3.14, and of course turned it ON.

No errors occurred but yet for some reason I don't see the link "banning" on the User profile, like here
https://www.phpbb.com/customise/db/download/116816

Do you have any idea why it might happen?

Works fine for me
I see [ Ban one or more users by username ]
Spelling is freeware, which means you can use it for free.
On the other hand, it is not open source, which means you cannot change it or publish it in a modified form.

You're right!
Even I'm an owner and Administrator on the forum, it doesn't show this link.
But when I added myself to super-moderator, the link appeared

I am close to 20 years with phpBB and still sometimes having problems with the permissions 😁👍

+1 on that! Over 20 years for me.
phpBB2 had a really good and simple (easy to use) permission-system. Since first phpBB3 I am completely lost.
