Suggestions or feature requests?

So my first question is: where do I submit suggestions or feature requests?

I figured it would be in phpBB Support or here in phpBB Discussion, but they both say not to post feature requests... They aren't bugs, so I don't think they go in the bug tracker...

I've looked all over and cannot figure out where I'm supposed to do this.

Help?

i suppose you could try contacting an author you think has the capability to.

EDIT: actually there is a MOD requests forum, try that.

Thanks for the response.

I don't like to contact authors directly unless I have to - I'm sure they get enough email as it is. There should be a forum [or a place in one of these forums] for making suggestions so that they may be dissected and discussed.

The MOD requests forum is for making requests about MODs, not the main phpBB code.

I don't want to make a big deal about this - I just want to point out that there is no specific place for making suggestions for the main phpBB code [that is obvious anyway].

The 2.x line is now permanently feature frozen

The 3.x line is feature frozen until after the gold release, at which point the feature tracker will re-open for 3.2/3.4
