Hi Peter,

I've upgraded my board a few day's ago from 2.0.19 to 2.0.20 without any code-conflicts regarding this mod.
Since it is working for me, I expect no troubles when using a 2.0.20.

Have you set a minimum length for a specific forum in the ACP?

If you can post a link to your forum, I'll take a look at it.

Hi evil<3,

I looked at my code, made a easymod preview on a clean install and can't see any failure.

The reason, why you are getting a failure, is this

Code: Select all

forum_min_length = 6, 6
The second ", 6" is producing the error. But I don't know, for why you are having further information there.
The line, which is producing the error, should most likely look like this:

Code: Select all

$sql = "UPDATE " . FORUMS_TABLE . "SET forum_name = '" . str_replace("\'", "''", $HTTP_POST_VARS['forumname']) . "', cat_id = " . intval($HTTP_POST_VARS[POST_CAT_URL]) . ", forum_desc = '" . str_replace("\'", "''", $HTTP_POST_VARS['forumdesc']) . "', forum_status = " . intval($HTTP_POST_VARS['forumstatus']) . ", prune_enable = " . intval($HTTP_POST_VARS['prune_enable']) . ", forum_min_length = " . intval($HTTP_POST_VARS['forum_min_length']) . " WHERE forum_id = " . intval($HTTP_POST_VARS[POST_FORUM_URL]);
Did you install this mod by hand or did you used easymod? If you did it yourself, it might be, that you made a little mistake.

Anyway I would be interested in your Update statemant (the line 441) - I think, it can't be a big thing, to solve your problem :-).

As said -> simply copy your code here :-)

I'll take a look at it and I think, that it wouldn't be a big problem.

Great MOD, appears to work fine. Unfortunately, It doesn't work in 'quick reply' box. Can you add this?
I am using "Simple Quick Reply MOD" by Merri (v1.0.0)

Thanks

Hi robb1e,

I've allready forgotten your post her - hence... im getting old ;-).

In the upcoming days I will take a look at the short reply mod. It can't be a realy big deal, to implent this.

I will give a short feedback, when I made the patch for shortreply and a test with easymod. When there are no other complaints, I "try" to submit it to the mod-database.

Bye,
Mike
