I'm using a different style, but I'm having the same problem.. Anyone?

Just do as the instructions tell you: copy the TPL-files to your webspace for ALL templates ...

Well, how about creating the image-directory then ?
Read the instructions and FAQ, the answers are all there.

You made a mistake changing the file privmsg.php - take your backup and try again.

im getting that error whenever i try to upload an image. I have my permissions set right, and am running the exposionDark template.

If you're getting "permission denied", you did NOT set your permissions right. Judging from your path (c:\Inetpub...), you're running a windows-server, you can't use FTP to change file-permissions, then.
This is also in the FAQ

Read the FAQ, chapter I. 12.
There is no way changing the "white page problem" within UploadPic !

Re: User delete pictures

Ben525 wrote: How can my user delete their own pictures? like when they upload the wrong picture... I can't seem to find that option for them.

They can't. Pictures will be deleted, if a users clicks "back" after upload (if you set your config to it), otherwise all unused pictures will be deleted when you click "delete unused pictures" in the ACP.

It's in the readme.txt, also something about that is in the FAQ.

No.

Check your installation again - if everything is installed as it should, uploaded pictures MUST be "tied" to the uploading user.

I found a partial solution:

Apparently none of the resize, rotate, file size, rotate options are functioning so any image that is too large is not uploaded as a "user" file. I set my image sizes larger and am able to upload and see a gallery so long as uploaded files are not larger than the settings

Also, files are saved a userNUMBER_filename.jpg and not USERNAME_filename.jpg as stated somewhere in the faqs

Can I assume theres a problem then with the GD library??

Images that don't appear to be "user-files" are images that are left on the server after the processing was terminated (by the server, not UploadPic !) because a file was to big for the server to be rotated and/or resized.

That's not in the FAQ.

If I set the MOD to allow only 100 x 100 maximum images then nothing gets listed as a user file. If I raise that to 1000 x 1000 they are saved as user files. So wouldnt a 1000 x 1000 image take longer to process than a 100 x 100?

Its my server, so what setting would I need to increase to allow more processing time? There must be a setting so low that nothing at all can be processed.

I stand corrected on the second statement, the FAQ says USERID_filename.
