Yes, Textual Confirmation stops all the bots. But... Contemporary bots don't work alone, they cooperate with a human. On the secons pass, the human registers manually where the bot fails. Bad. Looks like no MOD can help.

The good news is that the cost of creating a spam registration is more than the cost of deleting the spam user. Therefore, Textual Confirmation is an effective solution. After the spammer answers ten unique questions, her will be tired and just skip the forums with Textual Confirmation :-)

RMcGirr83: спасибо!

olpa, Are there any problems with using this in conjunction with a CAPTCHA, or is it designed solely to replace it?

I use Textual Confirmation instead of CAPTCHA. But there are no problems in using both TC and CAPTCHA together.

I use the same. There is no point of using CAPTCHA anymore. This mod itself is enough to get a read human reader to register. Adding with the CAPTCHA is just annoying since bots can bypass it.

opa, the mod works great! Beat mod ever for antibot registration. For two days now, no bot registered.

Edit: drag! What's up with the difference with having the business edition? I'm a bit confused by it.

I'm happy to know it!

Don't worry. The only difference: in the community edition, TC reports about spam registration attempts by e-mail, in the business edition -- doesn't.

I think reporting spams is more of adding another feature to without reporting spams. I guess it is better to take the one with reporting spam feature then.
