3 forums + 1 Database = 3.0.x questions

Evening all,

With the release of 3.0 edging ever closer I think the time has come for me to ask a few questions. My current 2.0.22 forums run a shared database, and my intial problem was solved HERE. So, bearing my forums structure in mind;

1. Will I be able to upgrade to 3.0.x?
2. Will I need to alter the database again?
3. I presume I will simply upgrade one forum (and all the data) to 3.0.x, and then after that I should be able to upgrade the other forums using an option that doesn't change the data?

I fear though that I am going to run into a whole heap of problems, and it won't go smoothly.

Opinions and advice welcomed.

thats the topic on sharing the database - the guys that helped out were great *big thumbs up*
To be honest tho I am only using it on test forums for 3.0 and havent tried it on an upgrade yet.

It shouldn't be difficult… just upgrade each forum individually… then merge the tables as stated in the how-to.
