2.0.x MODs Quality?

Since there will probably be a converter from 2.0.x to 3.0.x in the future, I'm just wondering which MODs to install on my 2.0.x forum before the conversion? Should I leave out the new feature MODs that are in 3.0.x?

Most MODs won't convert, so it doesn't really matter.

I believe it has been stated that the Attachment MOD will convert. Other MOD authors may provide conversions scripts for their own MODs. But in general you probably should not count on being able to convert any MODs.

Okay, thank you for helping me! For other 2.0.x forums, where they do have mods active, what should they do? I have a few phpBB forums.

if you're planning on upgrading, it's better if you don't install any more mods at this point because they will only serve to complicate things… and you will lose all of your work once you upgrade to phpBB3.
However, with mods installed, as long as they don't change the core database, you will have no problems upgrading to phpBB3 even with a lot of mods installed.

Why are you posting a link to phpbb2 mods in a phpbb3 forum?

I doubt very much that it is "rocket science" to actually find that forum particularly as anyone who has an interest in mods knows about it already - in fact I would guess that a large number of posters in this form have posted in the mods forum at some point.
