Birthday Table in proSilver

Post by WheelGuy » Tue Apr 03, 2007 3:51 pm

Not quite sure what it is, but the "birthday table" doesn't show in the prosilver style. It shows in the subsilver2 however. I've looked at the html file and compared them, but can't see what the problem is. No i'm not running phpBB3 "live".

Look at the index of this board, birthdays are not displayed in a table.
Maybe if there are no birthdays it shows nothing at all? (Just guessing.)
Whatever I say, it's not my fault.

May be worth putting in the bug tracker

Its appears to be a feature of prosilver that if no one has a birthday "today", then the birthday list will not appear on the index.

Edit:What causes it is

Code: Select all

<!-- IF S_DISPLAY_BIRTHDAY_LIST -->
is now

Code: Select all

<!-- IF S_DISPLAY_BIRTHDAY_LIST and BIRTHDAY_LIST -->
If you wish to have it display "No birthday's today" edit that line (index_body) :)

Must just be the difference from the subSilver2 and ProSilver using exact same coding??? Even though no birthdays, it still shows in the subSilver2 style.

I edited my previous post to show the reason why it behaves this way.

I did that. The code now is

Code: Select all

<!-- IF S_DISPLAY_BIRTHDAY_LIST -->
just like in the subSilver2.

Edit: I apologize, I "thought" it had been edited, but apparently my brain wasn't functioning correctly. It has been edited now and is working.
