hey friends can anyone help me to create a google video BBcode?
I already have the youtube bbcode...
Or help me create a video BB code...So that i can post all videos..

This is how I have it set up:
BBCode usage

[googlevid]{TEXT}[/googlevid]

HTML replacement

Code: Select all

<embed style="width:375px; height:345px;" id="VideoPlayback" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" src="http://video.google.com/googleplayer.swf?docId={TEXT}&hl=en" flashvars=""> </embed>

Just add the number after docid= between the tags.
For instance, if your google vid url is:

http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-4100865152163477105

Your bbcode would look like this:

[googlevid]-4100865152163477105[/googlevid]

ok..
thats cool...but what should I do,so that the complete webaddress can be entered between the tags..
It will be more helpful for my users!!

There is already a Google Video BBcode, it was released sometime ago in the Mod DB, currently the download Mod DB section is "out of service" but you still can do a search to find the Google Video Mod support thread and ask there where can you download this Mod.

It's very simple, it allows users to place a link to a google video and embed it into a forum post by surrounding the link with [google]url link[/google]. It's very similar to the youtube bbcode mod, just instead of using a youtube link you are using a google link.
