Thank you.
BTW kkroo, how do you do it so that all other members are blue-bold and fill in the "Users" group?

You can do that by installing an auto groups mod such as this one: http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopi ... iew=unread

Then apply the coloring to the group.

Hope that is what you want

Hi again, I've got a final question:

While installing Global Coloring Addon (scu_global.mod) You have to add before two href ' . $last_post_author_color . ' and ' . $style_color . '

so it will be:

'<a ' . $style_color . '' . $last_post_author_color . 'href="'

Is it correct?

Code: Select all

Also you have to add successively:
$style_color = ($user_color = color_groups_user($topic_rowset[$i]['id2'])) ? 'style="font-weight:bold;color: #' . $user_color . '" ' : '';
and
$last_post_author_color = ($user_color = color_groups_user($topic_rowset[$i]['id2'])) ? 'style="font-weight:bold;color: #' . $user_color . '" ' : '';
Is it correct too :?:

Thanks, Jalal.

It would look like this:

Code: Select all

'<a ' . $last_post_author_color . ' href="'

oh, ok then you have to correct it in scu_global.mod.

Code: Select all

But, do we have to add:

$style_color = ($user_color = color_groups_user($topic_rowset[$i]['id2'])) ? 'style="font-weight:bold;color: #' . $user_color . '" ' : '';

and

$last_post_author_color = ($user_color = color_groups_user($topic_rowset[$i]['id2'])) ? 'style="font-weight:bold;color: #' . $user_color . '" ' : '';

before

$last_post_author = ( $topic_rowset[$i]['id2'] == ANONYMOUS ) ? ( ($topic_rowset[$i]['post_username2'] != '' ) ? $topic_rowset[$i]['post_username2'] . ' ' : $lang['Guest'] . ' ' ) : '<a href="' . append_sid("profile.$phpEx?mode=viewprofile&" . POST_USERS_URL . '='  . $topic_rowset[$i]['id2']) . '">' . $topic_rowset[$i]['user2'] . '</a>';

?
I will send you my viewforum.php. Could you please take a look and tell me if it is correct.

Here it is: http://www.savefile.com/files/619248.

Thank you.

It appears you are installing it incorrectly, try using easymod or view the KB article on installing mods

great mod, thanks very much.

I moved over from the Advanced Username Color since this one manages the group and color in one rather than having to make groups for the colour assingment as well.

I did have issues with getting the groups in the right order though so eventually put the order in the database manually.

Thanks again

You have installed the mod incorrectly, you put group_colored, group_colors, group_order under the WHERE rather than under the SELECT. Refer to the install file to fix this.
