Search index....weird

Hi!

I tried indexing my search (mysql) and it just went loading and loading for a very long time without anything happening so I closed it. Then I indexed with the other option and it did index well but I cant search with single words like "house" or "phone" which is possible on this forum. It always says it couldnt find the word. What is wrong?

With my 500 000 msg board it also took ages to index. Actually it doesn't seem to be finished even now (not running atm).

The search does work (at least to some extent), but when I continue indexing, my whole webhost account jerks up and I cannot even login with SSH.

The search function is not working as it should. Minimum words is 3 and I search with "house" or "building" but get a message saying there is no such word. Hmm...

Depending on the search backend, there may be some settings for (non-)indexed words and so on, see this post and ACP -> Search settings (Common word threshold etc.)
