Perhaps I’ll add support for the Administrator to choose between the Thank User MOD or the Thank Post MOD depending on which one or if it (automatically) detects both are installed.

Well I have to add support for both, but I can make it a per-forum option, so the Admin can select what would be the required action in a certain forum by default, and if it should override the user choice... therefore [hide=reply] would not be available in that case.

No set date yet, and no download yet... I’ve been so busy I have not had much of a chance to think... hopefully it will slow down this week so I can get some MODs out the door.

I have a requirement that is extreamly similar - would your MOD be able to incorporate this.

What I need was for just the author of the topic plus allowed usergroups to be able to see or reply.

I don’t think this MOD is related, I think you would be looking for the Author viewable only MOD.

i want to use karma , because karma is point which admin give for member, it's can't get by spam.
If you hide by a post , something [hide=10] then user just spam somewhere to get 10 post and then ....

Ex: i have a post with some important thing included, like rapidshare.com account premium, and want to share with member but not all , i dont want member spam forum to get it, i just want user writes value post to get karma and then rapidshare ^_^

I know this is a bit childish......

But can u release atleast one initial version like "Hide BBCode 1.01" So that we can use it....& add updates & other features in another update like "Hide BBCode 1.02"

Yep, that’s the plan... doesn’t make sense to put ALL the bells and whistles in the package on the first release.

-- as with all my MODs, a basic version will be released first, and the features slowly added to taste.
