I'm guessing that it's easy to change the donation to another target (ie http://mysite.com) other than paypal@canversoft.net... but I'm not quite sure what needs to be redone. I'd hate to miss something.

Steps to change this would be great.

Go into yourdomain.com/bb3portal/config.php

Find:

Code: Select all

$CFG['pay_acc']

Replace paypal@canversoft.net. with your e-mail

What do I need to change so that when users login they are redirected to the portal rather than the board index?

Did you make sure to upload the httaccess.txt file or however its spelled. I think that is the part that changes it.

There is one block in this portal that I would like to use on my board, the paypal donation. Is it possible and allowed to extract the code for this function without installing the whole portal (which I don't need at this moment, after the changes to my website and upgrade of my hosting account I will install the whole portal.)

but i want...the news..show up in the portal....like ezportal...

and the avatar didnt show up...

Hello!

Today I've enabled news system and it works great, I can see pictures and comments and everything. Only It shows up twice. Once at top of the page and one time at the bottom. I just want news at the bottom becouse there shows up pictures,comments etc. On top of the page there's only title of news and basic info. I don't want that. How do delete it? If in config I change show news=false it doesn't show nothing. I think I should edit news.html but I don't know how.

Just updated to RC4 and it works great. The only problem is that you must edit the includes/functions.php again(first 2 steps in readme.txt how to install this portal)

I have 1 question.

News block shows now only title of post, i wonder if could be made, that news blocks shows whole text from post too?

It will need some messing with to get it looking right. You'll see what I mean if you manage to get it to work.
