[MODDB] Prime Trash Bin - Keep deleted topics & posts

I just erased a users post as admin and after this the page got messed up and I got this error messages above the header:

Although I wasn't able to reproduce your error, I found what should have been the problem and fixed it. The new version is 0.1.3. To update, download the new package and simply copy root/includes/prime_recycle_bin.php
to
includes/prime_recycle_bin.php

As it is now, the author of the erased post is not viewable in viewtopic. Is it meant this way?

Yes, at least in prosilver. But I believe you can change that by opening viewtopic.php, searching for $postrow['S_IGNORE_POST'] = true;, and replacing true with false. I have not tested this, however.

Version 0.1.4 is now available, and is compatible with Prime Topic Moved Info. You'll need to update Prime Topic Moved Info as well. Update instructions are included in the "contrib" folder.

The Prime Topic Moved Info MOD will provide the ability to add a reason for deleting a topic, as well as a link to un-delete the topic.

Is it possible to make it so that moderators cannot delete a post permanently, like regular users, in case you come across an evil moderator who wishes to sabotage your forum. Would be great if only admin could permanently erase the posts. The topics on the other hand are all saved in the bin so thats cool.

You set up the permissions. Those users who have permission to delete in the Recycle Bin forum have permission to permanently delete posts, so if you don't want moderators to be able to permanently delete then don't give them permission to delete anything in the Recycle Bin forum.

But single posts never reach the recycle bin forum, only threads right? So can you still set up this permission for moderators and posts? I dont know how, and also I dont want my moderators to see or know about the recycle bin (which I have managed), is this still possible while creating this permission?

Individual posts don't go to the Recycle Bin, but when it comes to permanently deleting them then they use the same permissions as the Recycle Bin. I did it that way because it seemed logical; if someone has permission to permanently delete a thread from the Recycle Bin then they should probably have permission to permanently delete a post no matter where it is. If you don't give anyone permission to view the Recycle Bin then nobody will be able to permanently delete posts. I believe there are other threads around these forums that discuss setting permissions.

Not able to see or not able to delete is to different things, are they allowed to not delete post in that recycle bin ? check that
