Converting from Invision Power Board

Hey,

I am a total newbie at dealing with forums. We have had a forum over on Invisionfree for about 18 months and we have finally tired of the ads. So we are looking at getting our site hosted and changing to the phpBB3 forum software, but we have a few questions that maybe you all can help with.

How do we migrate our information in the old boards to the new phpBB boards?

Is it too tough for a non-programmer like me?

I'm sure there will be more, but that is all I can think of right now.

First, you will have to get a backup of your Invisionfree database by sending a support ticket to Invisionfree. There will be a charge for the backup.

Then you convert Invisionfree to phpBB2 using Invision 1x convertor and then convert phpBB2 to phpBB3.
