what kind of cms is this site setup with?

can someone tell me what this site is using for their CMS or is it just a phpbb site?

i am looking to setup something similar (as far as layout, not content) and wanted to get some direction from you all who might be able to recognize how its set up. Thanks!

cybrid add the missing 'c' to what should be com on the end :)

It looks like something they have had written specially for their site, I do not think that is something you can download and use :)

thanks for correcting the link! did you look at the forums though? those are phpbb3, right?

Yes that is a phpBB3 board, but it looks like they have written the site themselves, just like here with phpBB.com, it is a custom site written around phpBB3, looks like they have done the same.

thanks....where would I go about finding the peeps who could write a site similar to that layout?

You could start by asking the owner of the site in question. Be aware, however, that many site owners are not thrilled to find someone asking to have a site built "just like yours" as they have probably spent a lot of time and often money as well to come up with a unique presentation.
