Upload avatar from another website failure (Still need help)

I have managed to get avatar uploads to work but when I tell it to upload from another website it just goes to page cannot be displayed. At least before it would give an error.

did you upload your avatars into "groups?"

I saw someone else upload avatars they had to make a whole new folder in there avatar directory. And maybe... 20 in each folder. Maybe that is the problem... The name of your folder will appear on your forum i think. Maybe put "Group 1" for your first 20 avatars. And so on and so forth.

Is that clear?

I don't mean like that. I can have gallery avatars fine but if a user goes to their profile and tries to upload an avatar from another website it won't work.

there could be a restriction on your server

do you just get this 404error or a direct error message of phpbb ?

It used to be a direct error of not being able to write to local avatar storage but it is now:
The page cannot be displayed

It can upload from PC though.
