The name of my forum is the 'Merkur forum'. Consequently on every page above the 'Post a new topic' or index window, the message says:
The Merkur Forum Forum Index'.

How can I change the text to just say 'Index' so that the text reads correctly?

Also where do I edit the registration agreement and COPPA statement?

language/lang_english/lang_main.php

Just search "agreement" and it'll take you there.

Thanks - found the COPPA text.

Anyone have any idea od the other question? If the name of the forum is "The anything Forum" all the index pages are reported as "The Anything Forum Forum Index" (Two 'forums').

In the .../language/lang_english/lang_main.php file...

Look for a string like:

Code: Select all

$lang['Welcome_subject'] = 'Welcome to %s Forums'; // Welcome to my.com forums

and remove the word Forums after the %s

Thanks I tried this but the text on the page didn't change - even after refreshing the page. Any other ideas?

Wrong section... although it does a similar thing...
