Hi :)

I've another question. I'm using this style and everything is great but after using this style the users of my forums aren't getting a pop-up window when they recieve a new private message. Do you know how can I add that function again?

Thanks in advance.

Do they have that function turned on in their UCP?

v1.1.0 Updates
Updates to the header to allow full width images without displacement.
Moved searchbox down to right corner of header for better flow.
Adjusted background colors on posting and topic review pages.
Added custom images to the post area to complete base imageset.
Various formatting tweaks.
Added topic type in subject line if a poll is present.
Reduced size of background image to 1600px and added complimentary background color behind background incase disabled.
Reduced size of header images to lighten bandwidth usage.
Increased width of forum rows to leave less white space after the last post column.

Upgrading? Don't forget to refresh your template, theme and imageset components! Else, your style won't update properly!

See original post for updates!

Thanks for making this style successful everyone! Over 1,000+ downloads in the style's premier week!

hi,

got some problem: after installing this style i'm neither able to see buttons like "Edit", "Quote", etc. nor can remove that title text which is disturbing the modifcated logo. in addition to that the search-box goes up to the sky when logging out :o
..and by the way, how it is possible to change smily-configuration (see it nowhere) ?

how to fix these problems?

//EDIT2: ok first problem is solved! what about that search field thing?
//EDIT3: ok, everything's fine now :D
bye

Great theme, thanks for all the hard work! Really nice

I need some help changing the links section though:

I've tried modifying the links as instructed at:
http://www.shadowflames.us/development/ ... ?f=65&t=43

but they're not changing. The new values are definitely saved to the overall_header.html file.

Any ideas? (not sure what other info to provide, please let me know if it'll help)
forum site:
http://www.analogmissionary.com/phpBB3/

changed the info to:

<li class="top"><a href="#" id="phpbbresources" class="top_link"><span class="down">Links</span><!--[if gte IE 7]><!--></a><!--<![endif]-->
<!--[if lte IE 6]><table><tr><td><![endif]--><ul class="sub">
<li><a href="http://www.analogmissionary.com">www.analogmissionary.com</a></li>

<!-- ENDIF -->

Hey Shadowflames - Thanks for the wicked style!

For my use, I'd like to remove the 'overlay' site text on the header and just have the 900x200 px image rotating. I've figured out how to remove the overlay logo, site description and search bar, but I haven't been able to figure out how to put the rotating image in there. I understand it is a background to the div, and found where it is defined. However I cannot set the height to 200px, nor can I seem to use that url("----------") code in the overall_header file. I believe that if I do one of these I should attain my goal.

Any advice?

Cheers

Xush - make sure you delete the cached template files as well as refresh the template. You'll find this under the styles management tab of the admin control panel.

Hi, first off thanks for the style, it looks great. Now, I'm new too all this so I'm not sure how to go about a few changes. I have installed v1.1.0 and it works alright. But, I want to change the back ground so that the image glacier_bg_1600 doesn't get displayed at all, could you tell how to that . And in the header the file glacier_logo that displays the message Glacier Style, is it possible to remove that?

Thanks

After you uploaded, did you refresh your style template in your ACP as mentioned in step 6?

Are you trying to do this directly in the HTML file? This should be done in the style sheet. Please post the code you are trying to use and where. This style is installed on StarTrekGuide.com and has a height variable assigned to it there :)

open theme/borders.css and remove the following line (use find to locate it)

Code: Select all

background-image: url('{T_THEME_PATH}/images/glacier_bg_1600.jpg');
For the header... you can put your own logo there or you can edit that one... the .psd file is in the extras folder in the download.

I will take a look at it... This style was designed on IE7, FF 2.0.11, Safari (latest), and Opera (latest)

Thanks for the help. I just need to delete the logo from the header, I renamed the image and I like how the forum looks so I just decided to delete the logo. Could you please tell me which line of code I need to edit.
