i have this problem in my index page:

Do me a favor, copy and paste the common.php and the includes/functions.php files content in the post or send me a PM with the content and I will take a look. Thank you.

From the looks of it you have foreign characters, or an extra character in those lines, or there is a space missing or something out of place. That is what the line references are for and I can't help you if I don't know what is in those lines. Thanks.

i never installed any mod on m y phpbb3 forum.
then you can work on the original common.php file and help me.

So a fresh install common.php and functions.php sounds good. I will find the file and send it later today, sorry I am not at my home computer currently.

It's hard to demonstrate it guys - this looks like an ordinary first post on the any topic page
I could give you a screenshot, but most likely you won't see something unusual in topic view.
There's just the checkbox option called "Show on top of every page" when you post new topic or edit first post of the topic, similar to "Notify me when a reply is posted" checkbox option and so on.

Hello can you help me, i`ve installed on new phpbb 3.0.0 Gold forum. Forum lang is RU.
I translate mod in UTF-8 in russian. But there is no checkbox to make the first post on every page.

when posting new topic, try to set '1' as a default value for 'topic_first_post_show' field in TOPICS_TABLE.

Open posting.php, find

and change 0 to 1 (after colon).

hmmm....

if I sort it by last topic on top via UCP, the FIRST POST don't "stay" on first position. Can you fix this?
