Hi, you were right. My FTP program (filezilla) funny enough was NOT substituting properly the files uploaded (?), I had to upload them all again using a local upload feature in my host provider. Also, Explorer was not reacting properly after the install.php, whereas Firefox did. I have run again the install and got the message that the MOD had been installed correctly. Great. I see the options in the ACP and UCP... now, I have another problem, in the viewforum.php display, where I have all topics listed, the links of the corresponding topics have been corrupted by the path that I had, locally, where I edited the files. Check if all the MOD files to be copied are copied to the right places.
Installation of this MOD isn't too difficult, at my sight, so I don't think it have to make so lot of troubles with it...
i installed / Edited and uploaded all files. uploaded this bug fix install.php file.
I had to restore the entire forum. Well, I think I will give it a try again and reinstall your MOD... in a few days time, enough for today. Thanks for your help and explanations. Something funny must have occurred during uploadind modified files that resulted in the total corruption of the forum. Luckily, I had a database backup from before so I could re-start again. Will try again soon.rxu wrote:rampal
That's weird. The thing is QR MOD doesn't change any original code in viewforum.php, just adds some...
And it doesn't change topics links too. Are you sure it's up to quick reply, not another MOD?
Nevertheless, I'd advice to try to restore backup of viewforum.php and check the results.

Code: Select all

I tried to reinstall it and it happened again. As I use Brazilian Portuguese in my forum, I tried to translate root/language/en/mods/quick_reply.php and then I uploaded it to my server. Then, I received a message confirming the installation.Language file quick_reply.php couldn't be opened.
