Just what I needed for my phpBB forum hosting system.

Best portal out there for phpBB 3!! I've tried them all and this one is by far the best and most easy to use/modify. This one is almost ready for GOLD release... good work!!!

I don't know about the adsense, but I've got some answers for the others.

Categories --> Travel
Go to the ACP and under the .MODS tab and the "Express News System", select "Manage Categories". From there you can change the Category Name, Description, Icon. That's where you change that stuff.
Then select "Manage Articles" to create new ones.
To make sure you can view those articles and categories. "All Yes" doesn't work for this for some reason. You need to select "Advance Permissions" and manually select "Can view articles in express news system" under the "Misc" tab.

In the ACP, if you select the "Permissions" tab and key in the user's name or group's name, you'll come to the "permissions" screen where you can select the role, All YES, All NO, All NEVER. underneath those, there should be a link for "Advanced Permissions", and you just click there. You'll then get a little tabbed interface, and you'll need to select the "Misc" tab and you'll see that "Can view articles in express news system" is checked for No. Change to yes and click Apply Permissions and you should be good to go!

thanks for an excellent portal system...

one request / question.. is there a possiblity to add custom html blocks

i have a juke box like a small media player with 10 audios.. i will be glad if we could add custom htmls..
that would provide flexibility and any one can customize it the way they want it..

How to install that "Advanced Permissions"? Only a total of 7 options added, 6 in "MOD" Tab and 1 in "General" tab.

Whenever I run ktvm_install.php to install i get this error. I enter this to the browser http://cursayer.zxq.net/ktvm_install.php

Please help me fix this.

that happen to me a few times, what i did was go into mySQL and deleted any files on the table that started with phpbb_express_ and re-checked my edits and tried again.. after a few times i eventually got it going but still stuck not seeing any blocks, waiting for him to release the update i think sometime this week

i install it in my site and run great ... just i have one question ... How i can make the portal work with other styles based on subsilver2 or on prosilver???
