So, I take it from the MOD database there are no mods for phpBB3 yet huh?

I think there is a fair point being made by christhatsme. Modding is not for everyone. I think an officially driven (which is somewhat dissimilar to the current EasyMod, which started as a third party initiative), but separate download/install is the ideal mode for EasyMod.

I must be rubbish at searching because I found nothing to do with easy mod for phpbb3. I really can't wait for this.

You should see phPKG. This is not EasyMOD, but it has EasyMOD's features. ;)

I was also wondering why mod management functionality wasn't incorporated into 3.0 and searched over in area51 for some insight. This post is a little old, but I think it helped me understand some of the challenges involved in offering core support for mod installation: http://area51.phpbb.com/phpBB/viewtopic ... 7&p=130329

If anyone knows of a more recent discussion or better explanation of the challenges of core support for mod installation I'd be interested in reading it as well!

Mee too i have never used esymod for 2.0 as i run earlier a SME server and FTP wasnt an option but now i run debian and can use FTP
