It sounds as though you're getting closer to a release...I am willing to help test this feature, whenever you're ready!

For those that are anxious for a RSS Posting bot, another author has one that is in the early stages (and running). Granted it's only 1/2 of what this one will supposidly do, at least it's something to play around with until this one comes around (if ever).

Dev update: you can see feeds everywhere running at: http://forum.barrycarlyon.servegame.org/phpbbrss/

You will need a recent browser in order for the feed icon to appear in your address bar....
Need to add a dropdown menu with the list of feeds in.....

I have finished defining the control parameters, and am now building the actual bot/aggregator.

Yay!

Update: readin the manual for phpBB about submitting posts....

It's a race! ;)

The lastRSS aggregator and bot mods are being released to a new version in a week or two. I'm really not sure of the differences between that one and this mod. Anyone watching both? I'm not sure which one I wanna wait for.

Hope all is well, Barry...

I am going to sit down over the weekend and get the feeds everywhere written into a mod, and release that so people have feeds, and then I can test my bot with the 3.0.1 forum code and get that out I hope :-)
