Not that many (any?) will care, but installing/upgrading to 9.5 under Win98 appears to be a bad idea... Effects (you get warned about that), Speed Dial, Aspell connectivity all broke. And all in the first five minutes. That was enough for me to roll back.

I'm not blaming Opera, just trying to spare Win98 users grief. :)
We should talk less, and say more.

I love it the new Oprea
New theme is nice.
New history search functions, the little tweaks in the layout are very good and the other new features work great too.

have not yet tried the debugger toolkits for development of Javascript and such, but will surely try those too.

I like it too very mutch, but not the strange "black bars" that suddenly showed up in prosilver, but that bug appears to be caused by Opera itself and not by the style. :D

I've loved Opera ever since I first downloaded it. I've used it for quite a while till I started using Firefox. Opera 9.5 certainly processes Web Pages faster than it's predecessors. It's new Black Skin is really awesome. Nice work from the Opera team.

Also the new CSS supports included are awesome, see here http://www.css3.info

but actually I'm used to Safari 3.1 and I like it, it makes me feel comfortable :D

The main reason I hated Opera in the beginning because it wasn't free. It was like the other software programs where prices were in the $X.99's - it scares me.

I try out the 9.5 and it's got a good groove! I got DSL, so I care less about "SpeedDial".

Yes, but did you test on Windows 95 or ME?

I bet there's no such thing as the latest Opera for Mac OS 7 to 9.

Heh, Windows 95 is 13 years old, Windows 98 is ten, and I understand there are still some users of those versions. However, most developers feel that with such a low percentage of Win9x users these days, updates for older OSes are no longer justified. The same thing can be said for Mac OS 9 and older.

Windows ME... as for that, I have nothing to say, nothing at all. Let's all try to forget about WinME. :P
