As long as you update it yes. if say it was a style for RC5...you'd have to make changes for each release between RC5 and 3.0.2

Hello guys.

I am a bit confused.

I have a theme installed, "aphoticumbra" (This one), but its not update since 3.0.0

I want to update it, to 3.0.2. Its a subsilver2 based style.

I followed the main post links, (3.0.0 to 3.0.1) but on title say 3.0.0 RC5 to 3.0.1 RC1.

Is this correct.

Can anyone tell me what are the code changes in subsilver2 based themes since 3.0.0 to 3.0.2??

Thanks.

Yes that's true, because it contains all the code changes from 3.0.0 RC5 to 3.0.2 :)

You need to do the next code changes ; http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopi ... 5#p4886415 and http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopi ... 5#p5029605 and http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopi ... 5#p6138115 :)

Im sorry but im still dont understand.

Why I have to update my style from RC5 to gold if my style its already for 3.0.0???

I Think I have to follow this update.

3.0.0 to 3.0.1 and then 3.0.1 to 3.0.2 right?

You don't have to, if you follow the links i posted your style is up dated , because those are the changes from 3.0.0 to 3.0.2
For a short overview, you can view the first post of this topic, there you see a overview of all the updates for all the versions ( from 3.0.0 RC5 -> RC6 -> 7 -> 8 -> 3.0.0 -> 3.0.1 -> 3.0.2 ) :)
If something have a title like "Re: Style changes from RC5 up to Gold" it is because i replayed on this topic, that have nothing to do with the content of that post.

A question to Raimon: You wrote the following in: http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopi ... 5#p4886415

------------------------------

open: /styles/subsilver2/template/ucp_register.html

search:

Code: Select all
var old_func = window.onload;

function disable(disabl)
etc..........

and deleted it

-----------------------------
Do you mean this code must be deleted or that it doesn't need to change?

Kind of a n00by question, but I have a style based on Subsilver2, for phpbb3.0.0 RC1, any idea where to find the upgrade instructions? I want to get it up to 3.0.1.

Please update your board and style to 3.0.2 not 3.0.1 ;)

But you need to follow this changes from 3.0.0 RC* to 3.0.1 ; http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopi ... 5#p4886415 and http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopi ... 5#p5029605 :)

If I want to upgrade a forum to 3.0.2, what do I have to do first?
First update the forum or first update the style?

And one more question: can I update this style? :arrow: this one
It says that style is only for 3.0.RC1 but can I just update it?

;)
