Just like to add my thanks.
Great support, I had various problems doing an upgrade from phpBB2 to 3.
Thanks to all the posts here and by using search, I managed to find the solutions without even posting a question (found the article about offline conversion).
I now have the updated forum successfully running locally on my PC, just got to upload it to the server now once I've finished checking everything.

Regards,
Bob.

I just sent this as a pm to prototech, but I feel it is a deserving gesture for me to make it public as well.
I just wanted to take a second and give you proper gratitude for doing such a great job in the forums. I have seen a few quick or simple "locks" by you, but you seem to genuinely want to help as much as you can and I think it's important to let you know that it is a very rare thing here at phpbb.com and we really, really do appreciate it.

I hope that you continue with the dedication and courteous manners you have shown lately. If there was a rating system I am confident that you would be among the top.

Thanks again,
Frost
My gratitude does not rest solely on prototech and of course extends to all of the hard working developers of this board. But this particular special thanks was because he/she is doing a very good job helping people.

Thank you again, and to all of the others who react to users in a similar manner. I frequent the styles threads most obviously and I have not evaluated others. But it is definitely obvious other staff could follow in this man/woman's footsteps.
