Help please! :]

Hi, im new here and I just started posting here but I have been using the phpbb forums for a long time. The only thing that I need help with is getting the free phpbb forum to one of my domain web sites and also I wanted the forum to not have any advertisements on it. Does this mean I have to pay for the web site to not have any advertisements?

Can someone please help me?

phpbb does not have any ads in it. Those would be added by your webhost.

How is this a conversion question?

But there is ads on the phpbb forum... it cant be the web host. Well at least there is on mine. It's one of the free forums. The advertisements are on the top of the page. But yeah sorry if this is the wrong forum to post this in. I thought that this all went with conversing things with upgrades.

Converting is for changing from one bb software to another, like from vbulletin to phpbb.

Free forum hosts add a lot of stuff, such as those ads. They are not part of standard phpbb.

Oh okay. But can you please tell me how to get a standard phpbb forum. One that I can put on a web site with out any advertisements showing up on it?

Yes. Go to our Downloads section and download the phpBB3 install.
Then get a host that allows you to upload files, and upload the unzipped phpbb download.
