Re: RSS Feed 2.0

Can you tell me how to set this so that it only displays feeds from certain forums, because at the moment it is displaying the titles of threads from a private forum.

Also, is it possible to use this to add the RSS feed to another website?
Getting braver all the time. :D

Does this mod have a If Changed Sine header for Google Reader so that there will be no duplivale feeds in the reader? Google Reader is very tricky with this..

HI Acorn :

If you can see private forums is because you have permission for that forum :)

I guess yes, I have an user who only works with RSS Readers

When you put an RSS feed in google.com/reader than it needs to send a If-Modified-Since header to the Reader.

I've been waiting for this! :)
Having some problems though... installation went fine, ACP is ok, i can subscribe to the feeds i've enabled but... they don't get populated :? I run an italian board, but i don't think that's the problem, as long as i just add the "it" folder (with the same files as "en" and "es") in /root/language... any suggestions? Thanks in advance :)

HI paciuli :

I went to your forum and run this :
http://forum.biliardoweb.com/rss.php
http://forum.biliardoweb.com/rss.php?mode=forums
http://forum.biliardoweb.com/rss.php?mode=topics
http://forum.biliardoweb.com/rss.php?mode=posts

All works fine, except that you don't modify the overall_heather or not refresh the template ;)

Thanks for the quick reply! :)
I wish they all would work, but it seems to me that "rss.php" and "posts.php" aren't listing anything, except what's posted after them being added. Is that the intended behaviour? And, since in my board new replies have no title by default, they don't show up either, unless user manually enters a title in the post editor... is that normal too? Sorry for so many questions

Ok I'm narrowing the problem... it seems to work perfectly in IE7, which i never use, but it does have some issues in FF3.0.2, or at least in MY FF3.0.2... could you please check it out? Thanks a lot :)
