Header Background not changing fast for some users!

When i change the header background some times it take days to be replaced with users and it becasue alot of things:

User Browser Cache
The Board Cache
Cookies

Is there any solution to make the changes appear directly on all browsers and system once it's replaced ?

Users' browsers will cache the CSS, which is drawn from style.php. Since the timestamp of style.css does not change, the users' browsers do not know there is a change. You might be able to simulate a change by editing style.php, changing nothing, and writing it back out.

You mean i must download the style.php make fake edits like adding a line then delete it and then upload it ?

Ok i'm installing a mod called Custom Header logo and it support cutome backgrounds and it put custome backgrounf for each forum so when i change the image i getting the same issue

style.php applies that mod or i must look somewhere else ?

I assume so, but I wouldnt know. You would have to ask in that mod's support topic.

I'm sorry buddy to tell that your method worked on my PC only, i tried on another pc's including vista and leopard and the old header still appearing, what to do help me
