MOD Title: Ban email/IP on User Delete
MOD Description:Enables the admin to ban the email or ip at the same time when the user is deleted.

MOD Version: 1.0.0

MOD Download: Ban email/IP on User Delete
phpbb3 version: 3.0.4

I noticed that in the user quick tools of the User administration, i could not at the same time ban the user's email or IP when deleting their accounts (wow spammers mainly). I just added a bit of existing code to allow for this.

Iwe just tryed this out on 3.0.2. It should work perfect. But i cant see any change.

In user Overview it says

Code: Select all

Delete user:
Please note that deleting a user is final, they cannot be recovered.

And i can pick from Retain posts or Delete posts. should it say something extrta here or is it somewere else ?

This is what you see in the ACP in teh user administration part.

so when you want to delete a user and also ban their email for example, you hit submit

then you get a confirmation screen

if you press yes, you will get the following message

and you can see the deletion and the ban in the log

Ahhh yes i got it now. I only tested this with username. And that is not included in the mod. But it seems like a logical next step.

But a very nice mod for spammers thx.

I can also confirm that it works on 3.0.4 as per the MOD author's statement.

This is a very simple MOD to add and works perfectly. Great work lefty74
