[question]new posts not shown

At times when I log in, I don't see the new post icons, it marks them all read and I have to check the date-hours of the replies to see what sections have new replies. Is there a solution for this or did I do something wrong?

Search for this. This is a common problem and it has been addressed in several previous topics.

I've searched with the search function but one problem here is that there is no logic system to find certain problems.
Even when entering the certain keywords, I did not get any information regarding the problem.
I'll do it manually and browse through all the posts.

Do you have mutliple browser sessions open with phpBB? Are you behind a proxy server?

No, none of them. The funny thing is that it is not a constant problem.
At times the new post icons show, other times they don't.

Which phpBB2 version are you using?

Is it a fresh install or an upgrade?

I asked this before. I have the same problem.
New posts dont show up.
The name of the latest poster does, and by clicking on view last message it is possible to see the message. THere is no go to next page however.

Some of my members are having the same problem. Is it an AOL/proxie thing for some people if they have auto-login checked? (Upgrade from 1.4.4 to 2.0 )
