Linked image within a post?

I'm trying to make a post that contains several images, and I would like to include within that post a small banner jpg or gif that when clicked, would direct members back to the particular photographer's website. Obviously different photographers would need different links.

Is that possible?

Just use regular BBCode, unless I'm missing something.

Thanks for the advice, however I think that method will only work if you link to an already existing linked image - as you have done with the Google logo.gif - by right clicking the mouse for 'Copy image location'.

What happens if all I have is an image on my desktop, and an URL? Is it possible with some clever BB coding to make the image link the the URL, or will I need to upload the image somewhere first?

You will have to upload the image somewhere before being able to use it that way.

Somewhere like http://imageshack.us. Once it gives you the image url, you can use the BBCode like in my first post.
