The other way is to keep a trace in the database for each user per categorie. It will be a big table, and i think that this is many work for a little tweak.

Thanks, I love it, it's great and so easy to installl.But I've to suggestions:
1. Could it be possible to make it so that when you refresh the page the expanded or collapsed categories remain as they were before.!?
2. It would be better looking if they where on the right side, in the corner and when you want to expande a category there would be a + sing but if you want to collapse - sign.
I completely agree with both.Unfortunately this mod doesn't provide a locked-in expanded state or a locked-in collapsed state when the forum page is REFRESHED. Once REFRESHED the index goes back to its standard (default) unexpanded state.
