If you have a conflict of jQuery with the JavaScript of LightBox, you should replace the following lines

Code: Select all

	/* jQuery textarea resizer plugin usage */
	$(document).ready(function() {
		$('textarea.resizable:not(.processed)').TextAreaResizer();
	});
with

Code: Select all

	/* jQuery textarea resizer plugin usage */
	var $j = jQuery.noConflict();
	$j(document).ready(function() {
		$j('textarea.resizable:not(.processed)').TextAreaResizer();
	});
in overall_header.html. The jQuery Script Code should then be placed after the lightbox JS code (see here).

This mod will make the post editor message input area resizable. You cab grab it at the bottom and make it taller or shorter.

If anyone is still confused, when I say message input area, I mean where you actually type your messages such as where I am typing this message right now.

Very cool little mod. Not too many people will notice that its even resizable tho. To help with this I have redone the included image to inlude small arrows to signify resizing capabilities.

Thanks! Very useful for a lot of people with very small (PDA, f.ex.) or very large monitors, and for when composing long messages.

5/5 :)

This is a great mod. However, I noticed that when I made the text area resizable (with this mod) it changed the font that is in these boxes (which I like). Is there any way to put the font back the way it was while keeping the ability to resize ?

This mod isnt displaying properly with google chrome browser.

I tried ur fix, and that got it to show.

However, the arrow box area is not centred under the text box. it is along the bottom of the text box, but covers only the left hand side. and not the full width of the text box

(hope u understand what i mean)

Works perfect in Internet Explorer though

Is there a Google Chrome Fix?

I love this mod, but have a question.

I have the Advanced Quick Reply mod installed and wanted to make the QR window resizable too. So, I added the code class="resizable" to the quick_reply.html file and sure enough I can now resize the QR window.

However, there's a slight problem. The problem is, with the modified quick_reply.html file in place, the BBcode buttons don't work. If I remove the class="resizable" from the line, the BBcode buttons work ok again.

Any ideas?

I also have a problem... :(

It dont work! I think, that the problem is here...

How do i need to write?

Code: Select all

class="resizable"
...or this way...

Code: Select all

class="inputbox resizable"
EDIT!

Oh, i get it... Correct way is second one, but THIS MOD DONT WORKS ON PROSILVER (SPECIAL EDITION)!

Any ideas how to fix it? Maybe somethink with that, that prosilver (se) use prosilver template, but also some own template files... Like "editors.js"... Maybe i need to edit somethink there?

Maybe you have other JavaScript code which conflicts with this mod? See my post on this page to try something http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopi ... 5#p8535835
